QUETTA: Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA) is an important institution in developing a skilled workforce in Balochistan. CM Sarfaraz Bugti also highlighted the authority’s role in creating new employment opportunities for youth through modern technical training.
CM Bugti this said while chairing a high-level meeting on Wednesday in Quetta, to review the performance of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority.
According to details, Provincial Advisor for Labour and Manpower Sardar Ghulam Rasool Imrani, Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, Principal Secretary Babar Khan, Secretary Labour Niaz Nechari, and BTEVTA Managing Director Tariq Javed Mengal were also present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed BTEVTA’s overall performance, ongoing projects, and the future roadmap to promote technical and vocational education across Balochistan. The meeting also included a detailed discussion on the Chief Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program.
CM Bugti said that youth across Balochistan will receive modern and demand-driven vocational training to enable them to compete not only in the national but also in the international job market.

CM directed the concerned authorities to further strengthen BTEVTA’s institutional structure and expand the capacity of training centers to accommodate more youth. He reiterated the provincial government’s commitment to empowering young people by utilizing all available resources to enhance their employability and economic independence.
