ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti had an interview with the BBC, CM Bugti took direct aim at the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), accusing the outlawed group of spreading false narratives and using their own operatives’ families as tools to manipulate public sentiment.
In this sense, he was calling out what he described as “Fitna-al-Hindustan”, a reference to India’s alleged support of anti-state activities.
Bugti stated emphatically that the long-standing issue of “missing persons” in Balochistan could be resolved within minutes if the BLA itself released a list of its operatives.
In a bold and unapologetic interview with BBC, Chief Minister #Balochistan @PakSarfrazbugti exposed the lie that Fitna-al-Hindustan has been hiding for years: If the BLA dares to release the list of its own terrorists, the missing persons issue will be resolved in minutes.… pic.twitter.com/Uda1LBRmOL

“They know who is in their terrorist camps,” the Chief Minister said. “If they simply provide the names of those they are training and sheltering, this entire controversy will come to an end.”
“The Baloch people are no longer buying into the blood-soaked propaganda being sold to them,” Bugti added.
“The state will not allow terrorist groups to hijack the future of our province. We must separate legitimate grievances from armed militancy.”
