CM Balochistan Pays Tribute to APS Martyrs

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday paid tribute to the victims of the Army Public School massacre, calling their sacrifices the foundation of Pakistan’s resolve against terrorism.

In a message marking the APS tragedy, Bugti honoured the innocent children, teachers and security personnel killed in the 2014 attack. He said the nation continues to salute the courage and sacrifice of the APS martyrs.

Bugti said the APS tragedy remains an unforgettable chapter in Pakistan’s history. He said the anniversary serves not only to remember the fallen but also to renew the pledge to defend the country at all costs.

“The blood of APS’s innocent children, teachers and security personnel will not go in vain,” he said. He added that their sacrifices strengthened the national resolve to defeat terrorism.

The chief minister said the attack exposed the brutal and inhuman nature of terrorists before the world. He said the assailants showed no regard for children or humanity.
