QUETTA: A high-level meeting of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The meeting reviewed the electricity transmission and distribution system in detail.
QESCO CEO Syed Yousaf Shah briefed the meeting. He highlighted the company’s challenges and proposed solutions.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti directed officials to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply across the province. He called for immediate action to fix flaws in the transmission system. He also ordered improvements in the public complaint system for quick response and resolution.
He advised against unnecessary load shedding during summer. He stressed reducing public inconvenience caused by outages.
The Chief Minister emphasized the timely completion of electrification projects in remote areas like Dera Bugti and Baikar. He instructed officials to plan effectively to improve the power supply in these regions.
