DERA BUGTI: Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has been nominated as the Chief of Bugti Tribes in Balochistan.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has been nominated as the new chief of the Bugti tribes.

According to sources, the Bugti tribes have decided to entrust Mir Sarfaraz Bugti with the responsibility of leading the tribe under its traditional system.

With this decision, he has been elected as the eighth Chief of the Bugti tribes.

Tribal elders welcomed the nomination and offered prayers for his success, leadership, and safety.

The Dastar-tying ceremony was held in the Bekar area of Dera Bugti, where Sarfaraz Bugti was formally turbaned as the Chief of the Bugti tribes.

Senior tribal elders and prominent dignitaries from the Bugti tribes attended the ceremony.

Chiefs from various Bugti sub-tribes, including the Shambani, Kalpar, Mondrani, Pirozani, Nothani and Domb tribes, were present at the event.

On the occasion, Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Sarfaraz Bugti stated that he would strive to repay the debt of this turban through dedicated service.

He noted that the Bugti tribes have fallen far behind in educational initiatives today, though many children have previously studied in major colleges across Pakistan, and now Bugti tribe children will also receive education in the country’s leading institutions.

He expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for providing a Daanish School in their area, adding that the tenders for the Daanish School have been completed and construction will be finished soon.

Sardar Sarfaraz Bugti further said that a building is being prepared for the orphaned children of the Bugti tribes, featuring a 300-bed hostel arrangement, through which Bugti tribe children will be able to obtain education via an endowment fund.
