Chairman Senate Gilani says India trying to divert attention from Kashmir issue

KARACHI: Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani said that India is misleading the international community by accusing Pakistan for its failure with the aim to hide the genuine Kashmir issue.

Chairman Senate said that Pakistan’s political and military leadership positively responded to the Indian accusations of linking the Pahalgam incident to cross-border activities and blaming Pakistan for its failure in providing security to the tourists.

The Chairman Senate further said that in the current situation, Pakistan is facing many challenges, we are a responsible country and support peace, but we will not compromise on our security and dignity, if India wants to start war, then we are ready for it and India will have to face the damages of war.

He further said that India wants to divert the world’s attention from the real reality, India cannot hide the Kashmir issue from the world, India should first investigate, and accusations should be avoided before investigation.

While addressing to a conference here in Karachi organized by Rotary Club, Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani appreciated the humanity work of Rotary Club in health and other sectors for the development of Pakistan.

Gilani further said Rotary Club has done a lot of work in the health sector as well, millions of people were sponsored through Benazir Bhutto Income Support Program (BISP).
