RAWALPINDI: Pakistan have accepted Afghanistan’s request for the ceasefire for next 48 hours.
According to the security officials, the Afghan government has requested for ceasefire after a massive loss of their militants during to conflict with Pakistan.
The Taliban government has begged for ceasefire for another 48 hours starting from 6 PM today.
Pakistan’s security forces have killed some 250 Afghan militants while they attempted to launch attacks on KP and Balochistan borders.
Meanwhile, Pakistani security forces have hoisted their flag on the Gharnali Post on Afghan border.
It is worth mentioning that Pakistan has asked Afghan government on the numerous occasions to take necessary actions against the Indian-backed militant groups that are launching attacks on Pakistan’s territory.
The militant groups like TTP, BLA, Daish and many others arrive from Afghanistan’s territory and launch attacks not only on the security forces but also on the civilians in Pakistani territory.
However, instead of taking actions against those militants, the Afghan security forces launched heavy firing from the border with Pakistan.
The security forces of Pakistan retaliated the Afghan aggression and not only kill over 200 Taliban militants but also took control on the Taliban post on the border.
Earlier today, the security forces launched successful operation in Orakzai, Mehmand and Aba Khel areas killing around 50 Fitna al Khwarij militants.
The security forces of Pakistan have a clear stance that the militancy will be rooted out from Pakistan’s soil and the lives and the properties of the Pakistani people will be given the protection.
