ISLAMABAD: The results of the by-elections for five National Assembly constituencies and seven Punjab Assembly constituencies are continuing to come in.
According to the unofficial and unconfirmed results from NA-143 Sahiwal-3, PML-N’s Muhammad Tufail has won with 136,223 votes, while independent candidate Darrar Akbar Chaudhry secured 13,220 votes and stood second.
Polling in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Muzaffargarh began at 8 a.m. and continued until 5 p.m., after which vote counting started.
National Assembly Results:
From NA-96 Faisalabad-2, unofficial results from 154 out of 345 polling stations show PML-N’s Muhammad Bilal Badar leading with 79,278 votes, followed by independent candidate Nawab Sher Wasir with 26,483 votes.
In NA-104 Faisalabad-10, results from 66 out of 375 stations indicate that PML-N’s Daniyal Ahmed is ahead with 7,632 votes, while independent candidate Rana Adnan Javed has 3,822 votes.
In NA-129 Lahore-13, results from 132 out of 334 stations show PML-N’s Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman leading with 14,653 votes, followed by independent candidate Arsalan Ahmed with 9,055 votes.
NA-143 Sahiwal-3’s complete unofficial results confirm PML-N’s Muhammad Tufail victorious with 136,223 votes, while independent Darrar Akbar Chaudhry received 13,220 votes.
From NA-185 Dera Ghazi Khan-2, results from 100 out of 226 stations show PML-N’s Mehmood Qadir Khan leading with 43,594 votes, followed by PPP’s Dost Muhammad Khosa with 19,456 votes.
Punjab Assembly Results:
In PP-73 Sargodha, 63 out of 163 polling stations show PML-N’s Mian Sultan Ali Ranjha ahead with 25,508 votes, while independent candidate Muhammad Haris has 6,080 votes.
In PP-87 Mianwali-3, results from 55 out of 193 stations place PML-N’s Ali Haider Noor Khan Niazi in the lead with 23,858 votes; independent Muhammad Ayaz Khan Niazi follows with 1,038 votes.
In PP-98 Faisalabad-1, unofficial results from 80 out of 171 stations show PML-N’s Azad Ali Tabassum ahead with 32,491 votes, while independent Muhammad Ajmal has 21,485 votes.
In PP-115 Faisalabad-18, results from 95 out of 159 stations indicate PML-N’s Muhammad Tahir Pervaiz leading with 17,235 votes, followed by independent Muhammad Asghar with 1,141 votes.
PP-116 Faisalabad-19 shows PML-N’s Ahmed Shehryar ahead with 22,773 votes from 100 out of 190 stations, followed by independent Malik Asghar Ali Qaiser with 4,507 votes.
In PP-203 Sahiwal-6, results from 179 out of 185 stations show PML-N’s Muhammad Hanif leading with 45,165 votes, while independent Falak Sher has 10,721 votes.
From PP-269 Muzaffargarh-2, results from 79 out of 156 stations show PPP’s Mian Alamdaar Abbas Qureshi leading with 34,946 votes, followed by independent Muhammad Iqbal Khan Pitafi with 24,139 votes.
