In a recent podcast appearance, political analyst Salma Baloch made strong statements defending the situation in Zehri and criticizing foreign interference.

Baloch vehemently denied claims of rebellion or conflict in Zehri. Instead, she accused critics of spreading baseless propaganda, using vivid language to suggest they fled the area in fear, leaving behind their belongings upon the arrival of security agencies.

A significant portion of her comments targeted what she described as foreign-led misinformation campaigns. She claimed that the exposure of fake social media accounts, like one named “Fatima Baloch,” has caused “mourning” in the headquarters of India’s intelligence agency, RAW. She labeled another account, “Bahut,” as a “mountain of misinformation” operating from India and predicted its end would be similar.

Baloch praised the platform ‘Buraq Digital’ as the “real voice of Balochistan,” stating that truth-based journalism earns a place in people’s hearts.

She also commented on domestic politics, suggesting that if public sacrifice is being used in Sardar Akhtar Mengal’s politics, it is a moment for reflection, as such decisions could weaken the country. Finally, she advised human rights lawyer Iman Mazari to ascertain the facts about Mumtaz Baloch’s activities from the individual herself before making public, emotional statements.
