PISHIN : Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has officially announced that the area of Karbala in Pishin district will be upgraded to tehsil status.
The announcement was made during a public gathering in Karbala. While addressing the crowd, the Chief Minister acknowledged that the province faces serious challenges but has limited resources to address them. He also addressed concerns about the Mines and Minerals Act, dismissing the surrounding propaganda as baseless. He assured the public that the act would be brought back to the provincial assembly and passed once again with consensus, firmly stating that the province’s resources cannot be given to anyone without the will of its people.
Alongside the tehsil status, CM Bugti unveiled a comprehensive development package for the region. This includes granting Karbala a Municipal Committee, upgrading the local hospital to a Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, establishing an intermediate college, and installing a solar system project. A development package of 500 million rupees was also announced for Karbala, Haramzai, and Saranan.
Concluding his address, the Chief Minister reiterated his resolve to ensure equal development across all areas of Balochistan, promising that no region would be left behind. He emphasized that serving Pakistan and remaining loyal to the country is a path to greatness and success.
