Bugti and Anwar Kakar Hail Court’s Verdict

Bugti and Anwar Kakar Hail Court’s Verdict

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti has said  that the justice is served to the family of Martyred Shabbir Baloch after the verdict given by anti-terrorism court.

In a post on his official X account the CM Balochistan said that following a two-year legal battle, justice has finally been served by the court to the son of Balochistan, martyr Shabbir Baloch.

Enraged protestors in Gwadar city, led by Mahrang Baloch, had martyred him by pelting stones while he was performing his duty at a Y-C (Y-Crossing/Checkpost).

Following the court’s verdict today sentencing Mahrang Baloch and her associates, the stance of the Government of Balochistan stands vindicated.

This verdict proves that elements who take the law into their own hands under the guise of peaceful protests, promote violence, and target state officials are, in reality, facilitators of terrorism.

The Government of Balochistan expresses its deep solidarity with the family of martyr Shabbir Baloch upon the sentencing of his killers, and assures them that the blood of the martyr will not go in vain.

The state’s war against terrorists, their sympathizers, facilitators, and supportive elements in Balochistan will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism.

In the meanwhile , the former caretaker PM Anwar ul Haq Kakar has said that Justice is not selective, It shouldn’t be.

Today’s sentencing in the Gwadar Raji Muchi case is not a victory of the state over dissent; rather a victory of accountability over impunity.

Those who orchestrate violence, masquerading as peaceful activists cannot shield further behind civil society.

The outcome of their gory action is surfaced in judicial process.
