QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti on Thursday chaired a meeting of the parliamentary committee on budget.
During the meeting, detailed consultations were held with allied parties on budget preparation.
Parliamentary leaders of People’s Party, Muslim League, Awami National Party, Jamaat-e-Islami, and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) participated attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister said that the members ‘ recommendations will be included in the budget.
The budget is being prepared keeping in view public needs and ground realities, said Mir Sarfaraz Bugti. He said that public welfare and the development of backward areas will be the focus of the budget.
“We will ensure transparency in development projects and fair distribution of resources,” said Sarfaraz Bugti.
He also went on to say that education, health, employment, and law and order will be prioritised in the budget.
