Turbat: A man was killed in a firing incident in Dabak Achanak Bazar area of Turbat , whereas the bodies of two men were recovered from Turbat areas.
The firing incident took place in the Dabak Achanak Bazar area of Turbat where some unknown assailants shot at a man named Dad, the targeted man died on the spot in the firing incident.
The assailants fled away from the spot after the incident. A body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Dasht area of Turbat.
The man was found-dead in Miksar area of Dasht. The body was shifted to the hospital and proceeding were started for the identification of the men.
Another body was found in the Mand area. According to the police officials, the body was recovered from the Koh e Digargok area of Mand.
The body was identified with the name of Muslim son of Naimatullah.
The assassinated person was abducted a few days ago. The police are carrying out the inquiry of the incidents.
Over the past few months, several incidents of killings and body recoveries have been reported from different areas of Balochistan, highlighting the province’s complex security situation.
In districts such as Ziarat, Washuk, and Kech, law enforcement agencies have recovered bodies of individuals allegedly linked to militant or criminal activities.
Officials state that these recoveries often follow intelligence-based operations against elements involved in terrorism, smuggling, and acts of sabotage targeting national installations and security personnel.
According to official statements, many of those killed were associated with banned organizations or had taken part in attacks on civilians and security forces.
The government maintains that such operations are part of its ongoing effort to restore lasting peace and stability in the province.
Meanwhile, authorities have assured that investigations are conducted whenever unidentified bodies are found, and local administrations are instructed to follow due legal processes to identify and hand over remains to families where possible.
Security experts note that Balochistan, due to its vast terrain and border proximity, faces multiple challenges including cross-border militancy and organized crime.
However, the provincial government emphasizes that peace and development remain top priorities, with law enforcement agencies continuing counter-terrorism measures while working to improve coordination with local communities.
