US, UK and Australia express solidarity to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and several other countries have strongly condemned the suicide attack that took place in Islamabad.

The U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Natalie Baker, in her condolence message, strongly condemned the attack in the harshest terms and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives.

Similarly, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott expressed profound grief over the attack that occurred at a mosque in the Tarlai Kalan area of Islamabad and conveyed deep sympathy and solidarity with the families of those martyred.

Meanwhile, Australian High Commissioner Dr. Geoffrey Shaw also expressed his country’s full solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of the terrorist incident.

He stated that the Australian government stands firmly with Pakistan and the affected families.

The Australian High Commissioner further said that Australia opposes all forms of terrorism worldwide and strongly condemns such heinous acts.
