PANJGUR: Two individuals were killed in an armed assault by the BLA militants late last night in the Gomazin area of Panjgur district. The victims have been identified as Mullah Amir and Amanullah, both residents of Chitkan, a town within the same district.
In this regard, as per the verified sources, the militants were heavily armed and assaulted with precision and intensity. The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Panjgur Teaching Hospital for medico-legal procedures.
Furthermore, despite facing complex security challenges, it remains a province of immense strategic and economic importance to Pakistan; with projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) supporting long-term development, the province has seen major infrastructural and educational advancements in recent years.
In such a scenario, the BLA, which has been officially designated as a terrorist organization by Pakistan and international entities including the United Nations, continues to target innocent civilians, public infrastructure, and law enforcement personnel across the province.

Despite these persistent threats, the people of Balochistan, alongside the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, remain resilient.
