BLA’s heinous attack in Mastung claims lives of two Baloch civilians

MASTUNG: The proscribed terrorist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) targeted innocent civilians in Mastung district, once again shedding the blood of its own people. The attack, which took place in the Datto area, claimed the lives of two Baloch men, Shakil Bangulzai and Adnan Dewar.

This latest act of terrorism highlights the tragic irony that while the BLA claims to fight for Baloch rights, it continues to spill the blood of Baloch citizens. The sudden attack has left the town of Mastung in mourning and intensified public outrage against the banned outfit.

In such a scenario, the BLA operatives ambushed the victims without warning, executing the attack in a cold and calculated manner.

The government has long designated the BLA as a terrorist organization, a stance supported by international entities including the United Nations and several Western countries. Despite its claims of seeking rights for Balochistan, the BLA’s tactics have consistently involved attacking infrastructure, assassinating civilians, and targeting development projects—all of which hurt the very people it claims to represent.

“This is not resistance. This is self-destruction,” said a local elder in Mastung. “The BLA is killing Baloch in the name of Balochistan.”

So far, Balochistan looks to a future of development, education, and stability, the people are increasingly rejecting violence and demanding peace. The tragic deaths of Shakil Bangulzai and Adnan Dewar serve as yet another grim reminder that terrorism no matter the banner only leads to suffering and destruction for all.
