MASTUNG: The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launched an armed assault on the Levies station in Kardigap, a sensitive area within the Mastung district. The attack, which occurred late in the evening, resulted in injuries to two Levies personnel.
The terrorists opened fire on a vehicle belonging to the acting Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Balochistan Constabulary. The ambush took place on the main Quetta-Karachi National Highway near the Chotto area of Mastung.
The sudden assault led to the martyrdom of one sepoy, while three other personnel sustained serious injuries. The Balochistan government strongly condemned the attacks.
The incidents mention the continued threat posed by banned militant groups operating in the region, particularly along critical highways and sensitive installations.
