QUETTA: A video of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) commander Allah Nazar appealing to India and other foreign powers for financial support has triggered a storm of criticism across social media platforms, particularly from Baloch citizens who view the group as a sellout to external agendas.
In the video, which surfaced this week on X (formerly Twitter), Allah Nazar is seen urging India, Afghanistan and foreign governments for funding to support the BLF’s activities. The footage has drawn widespread condemnation, with many users accusing the militant group of abandoning its supposed ideological struggle and transforming into a mercenary force.
Social media erupted with sarcastic remarks. One user, Zareen Baloch, wrote on X “When ideology is for rent, anyone can become a ‘father’. BLA is now only looking for funding, not freedom. Modi also wondered where these orphans are coming from.”
In a follow-up tweet, she added: “When the goal is not freedom but funds, the narrative keeps changing. BLA is today like a lost flock that is always looking for a new ‘master’.”

Another user, Noor Wali, mocked the group’s desperation with biting humor: “BLA’s recruitment slogan now reads: ‘Apply within. Daddies welcome!’”

Amana Marri, another social media user from Balochistan, expressed a similar sentiment in her post. “When your ideology is for sale, every bidder looks like a messiah. BLA’s only real struggle is finding their next paycheck,” she posted.

Hina Rind took a direct jab at the BLA’s shifting allegiances, tweeting:
“From RAW to shady donors abroad, BLA’s loyalty changes faster than their slogans. Even Modi’s tired of babysitting.”

Another viral post summed up the mood across the digital landscape۔ “BLA’s new policy: ‘Whoever funds us becomes our daddy!’ These days, it’s less about ‘freedom’ and more about ‘finding a father.’ Even Modi is puzzled: ‘Where are all these orphan kids coming from?’”
The backlash reflects growing public resentment toward the BLA and BLF’s activities, especially among Baloch youth who increasingly see the groups as an irrelevant, externally-backed force that misrepresents the real issues of the region.
As BLA, BLF, and other terror groups struggle to maintain relevance, their critics, especially from within Balochistan, appear united in one message: they are no longer a freedom movement — these are franchises up for sale.
