BLA and RAW working together to destabilize Balochistan, Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and India’s spy agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), are not two separate organizations but are working together with the same goal to destabilize Balochistan and weaken Pakistan.

He was speaking at a press conference today, the Interior Minister warned that foreign-sponsored activities are threatening the peace and security of Balochistan. He mentioned that RAW is actively supporting anti-state elements in the province to disrupt law and order and to fuel unrest among the local population.

“The BLA and RAW are not separate. They have the same agenda to weaken the state of Pakistan and target Balochistan’s stability,” he said. “We have clear evidence that RAW is providing financial, technical, and strategic support to the BLA and other banned outfits.”

Furthermore, the Minister added that the government is fully aware of these hostile efforts and is taking strict action to counter them.

In this sense, Balochistan, the largest province of Pakistan by area, has long faced security challenges. In addition, as per the officials, RAW’s involvement has made the situation more dangerous, as it is trying to manipulate local grievances for its political purposes.

The Interior Minister stressed that no conspiracy against Pakistan will succeed. He further said that Pakistan is raising this issue at the international level. “We will present the evidence to the world.

Moreover, the Minister also pointed out that development projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are especially targeted by these hostile elements.

In this regard, the Interior Minister assured that the government will continue to work for the peace, security, and development of Balochistan.
