BHC orders to resume mobile data service

QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court has ordered to restore the mobile data services and reconsider the closure of transportation in the province.

A two-members bench headed by chief justice Rozi Khan Bareech did the hearing of the case of mobile data service suspension and closure of transportation in balochistan.

From the government, the chief secretary and the attorney general attended the hearing. The honorable court inquired on the mobile phone service in Balochistan today.

The Government said that it was due to the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A).

The court inquired about the suspension of the mobile data service, on which, it was confessed that the Balochistan government suspended the mobile data service till 31st August 2025.

The court also inquired about the closure of transportation in Balochistan.

The members of the Balochistan government argued that the transportation from Balochistan to other areas has been closed amid the ongoing law and order and the security situation.

The court ordered the government to reconsider the move regarding the closure of the transport services as well.
