Bebo Baloch: From FBR Officer to RAW Facilitator

QUETTA: India has reportedly adopted a “soft image” strategy to promote unrest, terrorism, and separatism in Balochistan, using educated youth—particularly women—as tools for its narrative.

Among the most prominent faces in this campaign is Dr. Mahrang Baloch, along with other young women allegedly acting on similar lines.

These individuals have been steering Baloch citizens away from the recent wave of development in the region by spreading despair, hatred, extremism, and rebellion under the guise of highlighting Balochistan’s deprivations.

Despite their claims of representing local issues, authorities argue that these elements have little to do with the real concerns of the Baloch people.

The so-called Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), formed in the name of unity, is supposed to serve as a cover for Indian-backed terrorist groups like BLA, BLF, and BNM, providing protection under the banner of human rights for militants trained to target security forces, key installations, and innocent civilians.

Another name under scrutiny is Bebo Baloch, who once held a job at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). She  turned into an agent for anti-state activities after being lured by the promise of quick wealth. Reports suggest she began using the BYC platform to voice anti-state propaganda, receiving large sums of money for every provocative post or tweet.

In return for portraying herself as a defender of Baloch rights, she was  funded by India’s intelligence agency RAW and sent on luxurious tours to European countries, where lavish incentives further distanced her from national loyalty and moral values.
