Quetta – Political and social figures including Muhammad Kareem Qureshi, Maulvi Rehmatullah, Abdul Nasir Qureshi, Abdul Razzaq Qureshi, Abdul Rauf Qureshi, Hassan Ameen Qureshi, Muhammad Akram Qureshi, Mutiullah Qureshi, Ameen-ul-Haq Qureshi, and Shams-ul-Huda Qureshi expressed their gratitude to Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and the provincial administration for ensuring the safe recovery of Rahimullah Qureshi, a resident of Zhob, who had been abducted by Kacha bandits.
In a joint statement, they said that Rahimullah Qureshi was kidnapped from the Ghotki area by Katcha bandits who demanded a heavy ransom for his release.
However, due to financial constraints, his family was unable to pay the ransom amount.
Consequently, a delegation led by political and social leader Muhammad Kareem Qureshi met Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, requesting his intervention for the safe recovery of Rahimullah Qureshi.
Responding to the appeal, the Governor took personal interest in the matter and instructed the administration to ensure the victim’s rescue.
Following his directives, the administration launched an operation against the Katcha bandits and successfully recovered Rahimullah Qureshi along with other abducted individuals. The leaders extended heartfelt thanks to the Governor and the administration for their efforts and for ensuring Rahimullah Qureshi’s safe return.
It is worth mentioning that the area of Kacha is located in the Southern Punjab and the Upper Sindh. It desolated area covered with dense jungle and scarce population.
The area is controlled with large gangs of robbers who are equipped with some heavy armors like anti crafts and anti-gunships.
For the past many decades, the gangs have carried out thousands of criminal incidents.
Now making an evil use of social media, they are honey-trapping people in difference ways.
The people get tempted to go to those areas and get looted.
Similarly, the robbers loot the passengers on the vans passing through those areas.
Once they abduct the people, they share a video of the victim with his family while torturing him.
They demand massive amounts, jewelry, cars and even expensive watches from the family as ransom. People have demanded large-scale operations against the robbers.
