SURAB: The administration of Surab has imposed a ban on pillion riding and covering faces or wearing masks on face amid the security concerns in the area. A notification from the Assistant commissioner Surab flows in this regard saying the following..

The general public of District Surab is hereby informed that due to recent incidents of terrorism, the district administration is issuing the following strict directives:
- The public is strictly prohibited from covering their faces or wearing masks while moving around.
- Pillion riding (double riding on motorcycles) is completely banned from June 3, 2025, to June 10, 2025.
- In view of security concerns in District Surab, operations will be carried out under the “Loudspeaker Ordinance.” The public is requested to refrain from using loudspeakers or any objectionable broadcasts. In case of violation, the individual will be held responsible.
The district administration is taking every possible step for the safety of the public.

It is worth mentioning that the terrorists launched an attack in Surab a few days ago. The Assistant commissioner Revenue Hidayat Ullah Baledi was martyred. They militants burned shops and looted a bank during the attack on innocent civilians. However the security forces launched an operation straightaway after the incident killing five BLA terrorists.
