Balochistan’s delegation arrives in China for strategic visit

A high-level 10-member delegation from Balochistan, led by Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, has arrived in China on a significant visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and economy.

According to a report by a private TV channel, the delegation includes key provincial figures such as Sadiq Umrani, Mir Asim Kurd Gello, Changez Khan, and Dr. Malik.

The visit is being viewed as a crucial step toward reforms in Balochistan’s higher education sector and economic development.

China has already taken several initiatives in Balochistan to boost development in education and the economy.

Under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), multiple vocational and technical training centers have been established to empower youth with practical skills.

In the education sector, scholarship programs and institutional collaborations between Chinese and Pakistani universities have been introduced. Economically, China has invested in infrastructure, energy, and trade zones across the province, especially in Gwadar, to transform Balochistan into a hub of regional connectivity and industrial growth.
