QUETTA: The Pakistan Meteorological Department on Monday forecast cloudy weather across most districts of Balochistan, with rain and strong winds expected in several areas.
The department said Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Muslim Bagh, Zhob, Ziarat and Barkhan could receive rain accompanied by gusty winds. Intermittent showers are likely in some locations, while hailstorms may hit isolated areas.
Rain with thunderstorms is also expected in Sibi, Kalat, Kech, Panjgur, Washuk, Kharan, Lasbela, Khuzdar and Gwadar.
Official data showed the minimum temperature in Quetta dropped to 3 degrees Celsius.
Kalat recorded 1°C, while Ziarat fell to minus 1°C. Zhob registered 4°C. Sibi reported a low of 13°C, and Turbat recorded 16°C.
Nokkundi recorded 10°C and Chaman 4°C. In coastal areas, Gwadar recorded 14°C, while Jiwani registered 16°C.

The department advised residents to take precautionary measures and avoid unnecessary travel amid the expected adverse weather conditions.
