Quetta : Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the country cannot be broken through violence.
Addressing a gathering of lawyers in Quetta, he stated that insurgents are hiding in Afghanistan, but their conspiracies will not succeed.
He emphasized that he wished to speak from the heart to the legal community, questioning what kind of freedom movement this is, and comparing it to the failed Kurdish movement, predicting a similar outcome.
He further remarked that those spreading instability and uncertainty in the province should look at the fate of their foreign handlers—they will face an even worse end.
Congratulating the Pakistan Armed Forces on their impressive victory against India, he said the state is now ready to deal firmly with those disturbing peace in Balochistan.

According to the Chief Minister, the people of Balochistan want development and progress, not to become pawns in the hands of hostile forces risking their children’s future. He affirmed that Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and vice versa. The fate of the province will be decided through unity between the state and its people, not through the barrel of a gun.
