Balochistan issues transfer orders for DCs of five districts

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan on Tuesday issued a notification for the transfer of deputy commissioners in five districts of the province, also appointing an administrator for the newly established district of Upper Dera Bugti.

According to the notification released by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, the transfers have been made with the approval of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

As per the orders, Deputy Commissioner of Kech District Bashir Ahmed Barich has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Home Department. Replacing him, Yasir Iqbal Dashti has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kech.

In a separate but related move, the government has appointed Zohaib ul Haq as the Deputy Commissioner of the newly created district, Upper Dera Bugti. His appointment marks the first administrative posting for the new district.

The notification also confirmed the transfer of five other deputy commissioners, though their new postings are part of a broader administrative reshuffle aimed at reorganizing the district administration in the province.
