QUETTA: The Balochistan Department of Culture has announced the opening of Pakistan’s first-ever Artist Café. In this regard, the café will serve as a dedicated hub for artists across Balochistan, providing them not only with a platform for showcasing their talent but also with access to affordable facilities.
Furthermore, one of the key features of the Artist Café will be its affordability. Artists will be able to purchase various items and resources at discounted rates, making it easier for them to pursue their work without the financial constraints that often hinder creative expression.
In addition, the project has been made possible through the efforts and vision of Project Director Dawood Tareen, whose dedication has been widely acknowledged by both officials and artists alike.
So far, artists and cultural activists have welcomed the move, describing it as an “unprecedented step” that will not only give recognition to the province’s talent but also encourage younger generations to pursue the arts.
