QUETTA: The Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather across most parts of Balochistan as Turbat has recorded a scorching 46.4 degrees Celsius, making the place the hottest in the province.
In Quetta, the temperature rose to 37°C. Kalat recorded 34°C. Ziarat saw a high of 28°C, while Zhob hit 39°C.
Sibi remained among the hottest areas with 47°C. Turbat followed closely at 48°C. Nokundi recorded 46°C, and Chaman reached 39°C.
Coastal areas also faced intense heat. Gwadar hit 41°C, and Jiwani recorded 37°C.

The Met Office urges residents to take precautions to avoid heat-related risks during this ongoing hot spell.
