QUETTA: The Balochistan government has dispatched a major consignment of relief goods for flood-affected families in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Government spokesperson Shahid Rind and PDMA Director General Jehanzeb Khan confirmed the departure of the supplies.
According to officials, 1,500 families in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,000 families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will benefit from the aid.
The relief effort follows the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, who ordered urgent delivery to the affected areas.
The consignment includes non-food items such as tents, blankets, bottled water, and other essentials.
Shahid Rind said the Balochistan government stands with the people of GB and KP in this difficult time. He called the relief effort a symbol of humanitarian concern and solidarity.
He added that the goods are of high quality and designed to meet immediate needs.

Jehanzeb Khan stated that the relief items were tested, verified, and carefully selected to match the requirements of the flood-hit families.
