Balochistan restructures key administrative posts in major reshuffle

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has announced transfers and appointments of 26 senior officials across key administrative positions in the province.

According to details, this high-level reshuffle is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen governance, improve departmental efficiency, and ensure better service delivery.

According to reports, Saleh Mohammad Nasir has been appointed as Secretary Irrigation, Hashim Ghilzai as Secretary Public Health Engineering (PHE), Asif Farukh is now serving as Secretary Planning and Development (P&D), Tariq Hussain appointed as Director General (DG) Finance, Shahzeb Kakar posted as the new Commissioner Quetta and Syed Zahid Shah has been appointed as Commissioner Zhob.

These appointments are expected to bring new energy and direction to the respective departments and divisions.

While the complete list of 26 postings has not been made public, officials say more reshuffles are expected in the coming days to further align the administrative machinery with the province’s development priorities.
