PESHAWAR: A delegation of the National Security Workshop Balochistan visited Peshawar and held meetings with the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Corps Commander Peshawar, officials said.
The delegation paid tribute at the Martyrs’ Memorial. Members offered prayers for fallen soldiers and honored those who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Participants later met the Corps Commander Peshawar. He answered their questions in detail.
The commander briefed the delegation on security conditions in the province. He outlined measures taken to maintain law and order, counter terrorism and strengthen border management.
The delegation also visited the Governor House in Peshawar. They discussed national and regional issues with the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The participants toured the historic Bala Hisar Fort Museum. Officials briefed them on the region’s cultural and historical heritage.
Members of the National Security Workshop Balochistan praised the role of Pakistan’s armed forces and the Frontier Corps. They said the forces remain the guardians of national security, unity and development.

Participants said the session with the Corps Commander gave them a clear understanding of real border management challenges and emerging security threats.
