QUETTA: Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove visited the Yaro area in Pishin, where he met with protesters staging a sit-in following the recent killing of three individuals.
The minister also met the bereaved families and relatives of the victims, offering condolences and expressing solidarity during their time of grief.
The interior minister extended his sympathies to the affected families and offered prayers for the departed souls. He acknowledged the pain and suffering of the families.
“This is a sorrowful and unacceptable act, and we stand with the grieving families in this difficult time,” he said.
In this regard, Mir Ziaullah Langove assured that the provincial government had taken immediate notice of the incident on the very day it occurred.
He focused on that the authorities are committed to ensuring that justice is served and that those responsible for the killings will be brought to account.
“The individuals involved in this heinous act cannot escape the grip of the law,” the minister stated firmly. He reasserted that law enforcement agencies are actively working on the case and that no effort will be spared to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
The minister also mentioned that acts of violence, particularly those committed on the basis of personal or social disputes such as refusal of a marriage proposal, have no place in society.
“Taking a life on such grounds is neither part of our traditions nor permitted under the law,” he added.
The protest in Yaro has drawn significant attention, with demonstrators demanding swift justice and stronger measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
The minister’s visit was seen as an effort by the provincial government to engage directly with the affected community and address their concerns.
He urged the public to remain peaceful and assured them that concrete steps are being taken to ensure justice and prevent recurrence of such tragic events.
