Balochistan hosts a traditional dinner for CEWG delegates in Quetta

QUETTA: The Population Welfare Department of Balochistan hosted a traditional dinner in Quetta.

The event honored guests from the Federal Ministry of Health, provincial population and health departments, and representatives from AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan. Key development partners like UNFPA, Greenstar, and other organizations working in family planning also attended.

Parliamentary Secretary for Population, Mrs. Hadia Nawaz, and Secretary for Population, Balochistan, Mr. Abdullah Khan, presented traditional souvenirs to the guests. The gesture reflected Balochistan’s hospitality and cultural pride.

Director General Population Mr. Azeem Kakar and other senior officers were also present at the event.

The guests are in Quetta for the Country Engagement Working Group (CEWG) meeting.
