QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court has ordered the consolidation of all the petitions filed against the Mines and Minerals Act.
A two-member bench of the Balochistan High Court, headed by Chief Justice Rozi Khan Barrech and comprising Justice Sardar Ahmed Halimi, heard a series of constitutional petitions filed by senior political figures on Tuesday.
According to senior lawyer Muhammad Riaz Ahmed Advocate, the petitions were jointly submitted by former Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani and National Party President and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch.
During the proceedings, the court ordered all related petitions to be consolidated for a collective hearing. The bench subsequently adjourned the case, setting the next hearing date for Monday, July 21.
