QUETTA: To ensure the transparency and discipline in attendance, Balochistan’s Health Department has made it mandatory for all staff of government hospitals and medical institutions to take attendance through mobile application.
According to the health department notification, the heads and staff of all medical colleges, teaching and district hospitals will be required to take attendance through the “AI Attendance” app from Monday, August 11, 2025. Attendance by any employee in a manual or unapproved manner will not be acceptable.
The provincial health department has made it clear that disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned employees for any kind of negligence and salary deduction will also be implemented on the basis of their absence.

It should be noted that this initiative has been taken on the instructions of the Balochistan Health Minister to implement an effective, organized and modern attendance system in all government hospitals.
