QUETTA: The government is preparing to inaugurate a modern 100-bedded Trauma Centre in Quetta, indicating an important step in the province’s healthcare development. The new facility is being seen as a great initiative in order to strengthen emergency medical services and provide advanced healthcare support to the people of Balochistan.
In this regard, the Trauma Centre, designed according to international standards, indicates the provincial government’s commitment to improving medical infrastructure and ensuring the availability of timely, high-quality healthcare.
In this sense, healthcare experts have focused on the fact that trauma and emergency care are among the most pressing needs in Balochistan, particularly due to the province’s geographical challenges and the frequency of road accidents, natural disasters, and security-related emergencies.
Furthermore, the facility will offer a wide range of services, from rapid trauma response and advanced surgical interventions to post-operative rehabilitation.
Moreover, provincial health officials have described the Trauma Centre as a symbol of progress in the government’s ongoing healthcare reforms.
