QUETTA: The Balochistan government has officially announced a one-year relaxation in the upper age limit for applying to government jobs.
A notification has been issued by the Services and General Administration Department following the approval of the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
According to notification the relaxation duration to start from 24th June 2025 to 23rd June 2026 and both new applicants and currently employed government servants can benefit from this relaxation.
The new upper age limit has been extended to 43 years and this decision has been made under the Balochistan Civil Services Posts Rules, 2012.

Official said that this decision will benefit thousands of aspirants who were previously ineligible for government jobs due to age restrictions. It reflects the government’s commitment to addressing unemployment and creating more opportunities for the youth.
