The Balochistan Assembly session saw discussions on key public and political matters, with several resolutions being presented and approved.

During the session, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti raised strong concerns about the misuse of social media. He described it as an “uncontrolled demon” that allows people to make baseless accusations and damage reputations without any proof.

To address this issue, the Chief Minister called for new, effective legislation. He stated that such laws are needed to punish those who make false allegations and to stop this harmful trend.

In a move towards collaboration, CM Bugti announced that the government is ready to form a special committee with members from the opposition parties. The goal of this committee would be to work together to find a solution to this problem.
