QUETTA: To improve the governance and making administrative performance more effective, the Balochistan government has announced important administrative transfers and appointments at the high level in the province.
According to the details, Commissioner Quetta Division Muhammad Hamza Shafqat has been transferred and appointed Additional Chief Secretary Home Balochistan.
Meanwhile, the current Additional Chief Secretary Home Zahid Saleem has been transferred from his post and appointed Additional Chief Secretary Development, Planning and Development (P&D) Department. While Additional Chief Secretary Development Hafiz Basit has been directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD).

Government official told local media persons that these transfers have been made to make performance at the provincial level more effective and coordinated, so as to improve the delivery of public services.
