QUETTA: Director General Sports Balochistan, Yasir Bazai, has said that the Balochistan will host major sports events throughout the year, aiming to provide more opportunities for young athletes to show their talents in the field of sports.
While talking to media after watching the semi-final matches of the All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Football Cup in Quetta, Yasir Bazai said that government is committed to promote sports activities in the province to engage the young in positive activities.
He announced that on August 14, to mark Independence Day, Balochistan Games will be held across the province. Athletes from all districts will take part in different sports competitions.
Yasir Bazai further said that the aim of these games is not only to promote sports but also to engage the youth in healthy and positive activities.

The DG Sports assured that the government is working to improve sports facilities and keep sports grounds active for the benefit of players.
