QUETTA: The released video circulating on social media by the proscribed terrorist organization Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has once again attempted to stir unrest by spreading false narratives about the state of Balochistan. In the video, the group issues a threatening message aimed at China and Pakistan, claiming,
“Withdraw from Balochistan or die soon,” and further suggesting that “Balochistan is not Pakistan.”
These alarming statements, however, are not only misleading but part of a long-standing disinformation campaign carried out by a group responsible for decades of violence and destruction.
The BLA, designated as a terrorist organization by both Pakistan and international bodies, has a documented history of conducting anti-state activities, including attacks on infrastructure, targeted killings, kidnappings, and destruction of public property.

On the contrary, the fabricated messages being circulated, Balochistan today is on a path of progress, peace, and prosperity. The province has seen crucial improvements in law and order and economic development.
Balochistan is home to a rich cultural heritage, vast natural resources, and resilient people who continue to contribute to the unity and strength of Pakistan. The narrative of separation, often pushed by foreign-backed groups like the BLA, stands in stark contrast to the ground reality.
In such a scenario, Balochistan continues to move forward under the protection of the state, the public and the media must verify facts, reject terrorism in all forms, and stand united against propaganda designed to divide the nation.
