Quetta: The Director General of the Charity Registration and Regulatory Authority in Balochistan has issued a letter to all non-governmental organizations operating in the province, requesting complete salary details of their employees.
According to the authority, it has been observed that some government employees are simultaneously holding dual jobs, drawing salaries both from the public treasury and from NGOs.
Officials have warned that strict action will be taken against individuals found violating the relevant rules and regulations.
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Balochistan play a key role in areas such as education, health care, disaster relief, and community development, often reaching remote districts where government services are limited.
These groups partner with local communities to provide humanitarian assistance and promote social welfare projects.
Provincial authorities, however, have increased oversight in recent years to ensure transparency in funding and operations.
Officials emphasize that NGOs must comply with registration requirements, submit financial records, and avoid any activities beyond their declared mandates.
