SUI: Like other parts of the province, rallies were organised in various areas of Dera Bugti district of Balochistan on Wednesday to celebrate Youm-e-Takbeer.
As per details, a grand rally was organized today at Mundrani House Sui of Dera Bugti, under the leadership of tribal elder Karam Khan Mundrani Bugti. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth, social workers, and tribal members of the Sui region.
Addressing the participants, Karam Khan Mundrani Bugti extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation on this historic occasion. He remarked, “May 28, 1998, marks a defining moment in Pakistan’s history, when the nation demonstrated its nuclear capability by conducting successful tests in the Chagai hills of Balochistan, rendering Pakistan’s defense invincible.”
He said that Balochistan holds the unique honor of playing a central role in strengthening Pakistan’s defense, stating that this day reflects national unity, scientific achievement, and sovereign strength. “The resolve with which we secured our defense is evident to the world, especially during recent Pakistan-India tensions. Today, there is no doubt that no one can dare cast an evil eye on our homeland,” he declared.
In another notable event, a separate rally was held at Pakistan House Sui, led by prominent tribal leaders Dilmurad Bugti, Mir Muhammad, and the Town Chairman of Sui, Izzatullah Aman. The rally was marked by an overwhelming turnout from members of the Bugti tribe, adding grandeur and spirit to the national day celebrations.
