QUETTA: Alleged manipulation in the HSSC 2024 results of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has been revealed. A high-level committee has been formed to review the results of 34 students accused of receiving inflated marks.
The committee was constituted in compliance with orders of the Balochistan High Court.
Notifications for the committee were issued by BBISE Chairman Muhammad Ishaq. The committee is headed by Board Secretary Zia ur Rehman. Deputy Secretary Muhammad Shafee and Muhammad Haroon have been appointed as members.
According to the notification, the 34 students named in the marks enhancement allegations will be issued notices for personal hearings. They will be required to appear with their original academic documents along with two attested copies.
The inquiry committee will also be part of the investigation linked to FIR No. 12/Q/2025 registered with Anti-Corruption Establishment Balochistan.

After completion of the inquiry, a detailed report with recommendations will be submitted to the chairman. Further legal and administrative action will be initiated by the board or its executive body.
All proceedings will be carried out under the BBISE Act 2019.
