QUETTA: Balochistan government has allocated Rs 18 billion in the budget 2025.26 for the establishment of safe cities in 8 more cities in the province.
According to the details, in the budget speech, the provincial finance minister said that Rs 20 billion has been allocated to meet the public needs at the district level. Rs 3 billion has been allocated for urban facilities, sanitation and drainage, Rs 3 billion for the installation of 1,000 filtration plants and Rs 25 billion for the construction of Mashkhel Dam for the sale of water to foreign companies in Chagai.

In addition, the plan to establish solar panels in Chagai and industrial areas is included in the budget.
