Youth empowerment: Government launches historic project

QUETTA: In a landmark move for the youth of Balochistan, the provincial government has launched a historic Rs. 16 billion projects through the Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP).

The initiative, backed by UNODC and the European Union, aims to connect Baloch youth with employment and skill-building opportunities, making it one of the most successful youth-focused programs in the region.

At a ceremony held at the Governor House, the Government of Balochistan unveiled a clear roadmap for peace, development, and empowerment of the province’s youth.

Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi made a major announcement, stating that interest-free loans, digital education, sports opportunities, and full support for entrepreneurship will be provided to the youth under this program.

She emphasized that the days of unemployment and helplessness for Baloch youth are over.

The state now stands firmly with them at every step.

The initiative also marks a historic opportunity for startups in Balochistan, offering a combination of financial support, training, and official backing.

From digital literacy to entrepreneurship, new avenues are opening up for the youth of the province.

The BRSP’s success has been recognized with this substantial funding, signaling a practical path toward development and prosperity.
