Baloch militants Links with foreign agendas unmasked

ISLAMABAD: Amid the recent surge in tensions between India and Pakistan, the true nature of Baloch militant groups has come to light.

Organizations such as the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) and Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) issued coordinated statements and even made open appeals for military support from India — a move that has exposed the foreign-backed foundations of their operations.

These appeals, far removed from the rhetoric of human rights, have laid bare a disturbing reality: these groups are less concerned with the rights of Baloch people and more aligned with hostile foreign interests.

As their long-crafted narrative began to unravel, separatist factions hastily launched a disinformation campaign in an attempt to restore credibility.

However, the contradiction was too stark to ignore. Their actions have not only undermined years of propaganda but also raised critical questions about their true objectives.

Instead of advocating for Balochistan, these groups now appear complicit in leveraging international rivalries to fuel domestic instability.

Baloch militant groups have operated for decades under the banner of self-determination and human rights. However, intelligence reports and recent global developments increasingly link their activities to foreign funding and strategic interests of rival nations, particularly India.

While Pakistan has long claimed such connections, the latest Indo-Pak escalation has offered tangible proof through public statements and appeals by these groups. This alignment casts serious doubt on the authenticity of their struggle and frames it instead as a proxy conflict, undermining national unity and regional stability.
