Quetta: Provincial Health Minister Bakh Muhammad Kakar paid a surprise visit to Civil Hospital Quetta. He was accompanied by the Health Secretary and other senior officials.
The Medical Superintendent of the hospital briefed the minister about the newly purchased medical equipment.
During the visit, the health minister inspected various departments of the hospital and also met patients under treatment. He personally reviewed the recently procured medical machinery and its functionality.
However, a group of young doctors staged a protest during his arrival and attempted to block his way.
Responding to the demonstration, Minister Kakar termed their protest baseless and said such elements would not be allowed to blackmail the government.
He further stated that reforms are being introduced in the health sector to ensure better services.

“We are committed to providing the best possible healthcare facilities to the public,” the provincial health minister emphasized.
