PESHAWAR: The Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur has imposed a three-day curfew in 16 villages of Tehsil Loi Mamond of the district to conduct counter terrorism operations against Indian proxy Fitna al Khawarij.
According to the official statement, the curfew will remain in effect from July 29 to July 31. The district administration has ordered residents to stay indoors. It warned that anyone violating the curfew will be responsible for any personal or financial loss.
The affected villages include Bad-e-Siah, Tarkho, Irab, Gat, Agra, Khurchai, Dawagai, Kalan, Legharai, Kitkot, Gilllai, Nakhtar, Zarai, Dambarai, Amanata, and Zaghaai.

Officials have advised the public to contact the district administration or the police control room in case of emergencies.
Meanwhile, unrest continues in the tribal areas. Thousands marched in the Tirah valley on Monday, demanding peace. The protest followed a deadly incident on Sunday.
Tribesmen had gathered near a military brigade to protest the death of a girl killed by a mortar shell. Security forces opened fire during the protest, killing and injuring several people.
